Apartments in the Villa
From a one bedroom apartment for 2 persons to a three bedroom apartment for a small group of 7/8 persons, together with some special apartments with four poster beds and private terraces with lovely views.
Villa Grassina is an estate that belonged to a noble Florentine family, today carefully renovated into comfortable apartments for families and groups. Set in a tranquil atmosphere where the surrounding nature helps to eliminate any stress and revitalise the senses.
On the estate there is a swimming pool with jacuzzi, tennis court with basket & football facilities, restaurant serving authentic Tuscan dishes and a cellar to taste typical products from the farm.
The apartments are situated in the main villa and adjacent farmhouses, Il Frantoio and Il Fossato.
For nature lovers there are many places to discover; excursions by bike, on horseback or walk the numerous trails, reaching as far as the nature reserves of Vallombrosa and the Casentino forest. Alternatively enjoy Nordic walking in the surrounds of Pelago.
Originally built as a guard's tower back in the early Medieval era, the villa is frequently chosen as a location for romantic and elegant weddings, business meetings, first communions and confirmations and other festivities.
From a one bedroom apartment for 2 persons to a three bedroom apartment for a small group of 7/8 persons, together with some special apartments with four poster beds and private terraces with lovely views.

In our restaurant you can try genuine ingredients prepared with simplicity, keeping within tradition and using typical flavours and perfumes that offer the Tuscan countryside.
Weddings, first communions, confirmations, theme evenings and other special occasions. Villa Grassina offers the perfect backdrop creating a magical atmosphere.
Our territory is famous for wine, olive oil, cheese, unsalted bread, meat and other products.
These flavours deriving from peasant life, simple but genuine and Villa Grassina, even though belonging to nobility over the centuries has maintained a strong rapport with the local inhabitants and enhanced by the privileges of the surrounding nature.
Every week we organise a guided visit of our farm telling about the history, the land and our products. We visit the family chapel, the olive oil cellar with museum dedicated to the production of extra virgin olive oil.
Learn about our other products - honey, chestnuts and jams ending with tastings of these products typical of the Florentine mountain area. We taste together a selection of local wines with an explanation of their characteristics.
"We were a group of 25 persons celebrating a wedding and we stayed for 5 days in this beautiful place. The villa is old, but amazingly redecorated. It is kept in the old style. The food and service was amazing. The staff did their utmost to make our wedding and stay unforgettable! Highly recommendable.”
“We were so impressed when came to the restaurant for a family meal on holiday. The setting is absolutely stunning! The staff were so attentive and some spoke English well. The food was phenomenal! There is a different menu each night and you need to book in advance as it is very popular! We discovered this when we tried to book a table for a second time on our holiday. Luckily we got in again and we are very much looking forward to returning! ”
“UReally enjoyed staying at Villa Grassina: friendly staff, relaxed environment, perfect pool, superb food. Tennis court at no extra cost, children play ground with stone wall around it, only 30" from Florence. We will come back!
