Restaurant in Agriturismo near Florence
We serve typical Florentine and Tuscan dishes
In our restaurant we propose dishes that respect the flavours and perfumes of the Tuscan countryside.
Accompanying our dishes there is always extra virgin olive oil, Tuscan bread, and a good glass of Chianti. You can choose from an à la carte, seasonal or a special menu to celebrate a particular event in an informal and relaxing setting whilst enjoying views over the surrounding Tuscan hills.

Tuscan cuisine, a source of culture
In every country food and drink reflect the history, lifestyle and culture of their inhabitants and allow you to get to know their traditions and customs.
The Tuscan kitchen, in particular, derives from the needs of the local country folk. It is for this reason the dishes are not light even though the ingredients are simple. It is the seasonings that make the dishes very tasty
In the 16th century Florence became the most advanced city in Europe. During this period, nobility including the De' Medici family organised banquets in their wonderful palaces but it was the local country women working in the kitchens who maintained a rapport between the city and the countryside which continued through to the 18th century.
